Lines of Negotiation Exhibition
A performance as part of Lines of Negotiation: Mapping the Land, an exhibition commissioned by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Arts Office at dlr LexIcon from 16 September – 5 November 2016
Lines of Negotiation is curated by artist and curator Claire Behan with the assistance from people who live in or are connected to the Glencullen/Tibradden area.The artworks in the exhibition contemplate our relationship with, and our influence on, the mountainous landscapes of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County.This exhibition brings together nine artist whose artworks look at ideas associated with the historical, contemporary and cultural readings of the landscape and of land use.
Edges & Margins II Exhibition
This exhibition/event is an investigation into the identity of Dun Laoghaire and the occupation of its spaces within the public realm. The exhibition included a film, a fictional narrative, music performance, an art/historical tour and a series of photographs investigating the locale during April 2013 It will also included performance events in collaboration with local community groups taking place in locations such as The People’s Park and both piers/promenade.
